I've had the opportunity to host the "Nohgaku conversation club" as a way for various people to chat and exchange opinions mostly about Nohgaku as a complete work of art, and I'll be inviting guests to my Maison to discuss the charm of Nohgaku.
For my first guest, I plan to invite Hidetomo KIMURA, the owner of the SUIGIAN restaurant that's opened in Nihonbashi, to talk all about Nohgaku.
I'm planning to get more serious about this project next year, so I hope to explore management methods and the ideal way to run an organization with everyone participating.
Sontoku Ninomiya said "Morality without economy is a joke. Economy without morality is a crime." When I heard this quote, I began working to show that I as a Noh actor could wrestle with the question of how human beings should ideally live in the coronavirus crisis.
