As we ring in the New Year, SUIGIAN offers its guests a special New Year’s plan that includes this performance at the regular menu price, as well as a pairing of "Urakasumi" sake to guests who wish to partake.
Please feel free to let us know if you wish you have complementary sake pairing.

The concept of this Kyogen performance is "A New Year's Celebration."
A "Special New Year Performance" filled with joyous "laughter to welcome the new year," heralded by an utterly delightful kyogen (a form of traditional Japanese comic theater, literally translated as "mad words") stage performance to usher in the hustle and bustle of the New Year holidays and the start of 2023.

The program features a staging of "Kagyū"―easy-to-understand for all audiences, and very popular for its splendid costumes―performed by Manzo Nomura IX, a Noh actor of the Kyogen-kata Izumi School.

We will prepare our signature course meals with special arrangements and decorations that elevate the spirit of the New Year. During the event, you may enjoy the famous sake "Urakasumi" with your meal, which will be offered free of charge to those who wish to enjoy it as our treat to you for the New Year.
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for fans of sake.

We invite you to welcome the opening of a new year with us at SUIGIAN―where you can enjoy a most suitably New Year experience―dining on fine cuisine while watching a kyogen stage performance―together with a beloved family member or partner.

* A complimentary "Urakasumi" pairing set will be offered to customers who upon request.
