SUIGIAN will be holding "Special Golden Week Holidays: A magical week of traditional performing arts" as a special event during Golden Week.

Starting with "Gagaku," the oldest form of classical music in Japan, the event will also feature "Sokyoku," an ensemble comprising koto, sangen, and shakuhachi;
"Kagura," a ceremonial dance dedicated to the gods performed as part of Shinto rituals;
"Kyogen," a classical Japanese performing art and a form of comedy presented mainly through gestures and lines;
"Noh," an iconic classical performing art of Japan that has developed its own unique style over the course of its six-hundred-year history and established itself as a part of contemporary theater in our world today;
and "Nihon-buyou," a spectacular dance tradition that draws on the beauty of gestures and movements of performers dressed in kimono and their demeanor to visually present the beauty of Japan.
This unique week-long event curated by SUIGIAN brings together highlights of the most remarkable aspects of Japan’s authentic traditional performing arts over a period of seven days in a way that can be appreciated by not only fans of traditional performing arts but also everyone else including those who are unfamiliar with these forms of art and foreigners.

Please take this opportunity to enjoy a wonderful holiday with your loved ones, including your family and friends, at SUIGIAN as you indulge in drinks and delicious dishes prepared with our signature seasonal ingredients.
